Privacy Policy

The short version. Wavezard has no server. There is no account, no analytics, no cookies and no tracking. We do not collect, receive or store any of your data, because there is nowhere for it to go.

What we collect

Nothing. Wavezard is a static web page. There is no sign-up, no login, no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no cookie banner, because there are no cookies to consent to.

Where your data lives

Your audio, transcripts, speaker profiles, notes and summaries are stored in your own browser, on the device you are using, and nowhere else. Recording, transcription, speaker identification and diarization all run locally on your machine.

We cannot read any of it, cannot recover it, and cannot delete it for you. Clearing your browser’s site data for wavezard.com deletes it permanently. You can export your meetings, or the whole database, at any time from Settings.

What does leave your machine

Two things, and only these two:

• Model downloads. On first use your browser downloads the machine learning models it needs. The speech recognition model comes from Hugging Face (huggingface.co); the voice activity and speaker recognition models come from wavezard.com. These are ordinary file downloads and carry no information about you beyond what any web request carries. They are cached afterwards.
• Your own API key, if you add one. Summaries are optional. If you choose to configure an API key, Wavezard sends your meeting transcript directly from your browser to the provider you selected, using the key you supplied. That data is then handled under that provider’s privacy policy, not ours. Your key is stored in your browser and is never sent anywhere else. There is also a “Copy prompt” option that needs no key and sends nothing.

Optional webhooks, if you configure them, post to the URL you provide. That is your choice and your endpoint.

Hosting

The site is served as static files by Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) as part of delivering any web page. We do not add to them and do not use them for analytics.

Children

Wavezard is not directed at children under 13, and since we collect no data, none is collected from them either.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify, by design.
